The Ship of Dreams
But you know there was this man, and he saved me...in every way that a person can be saved
So Promise me you'll survive. That you won't give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, and never let go of that promise.

Who is the lucky lady?

Her name’s Evie. She’s a fifth year Ravenclaw, and she’s… wow. Sometimes I don’t have words, you know?

Huh.

I haven’t found anything I’m passionate about yet, it’s not like I know nothing of Quidditch, I’ve played games before but it doesn’t interest me so much that I want to keep doing it. I like reading, I like observing, I’m not sure if I love it, but definitely like it more than doing exercise. Swimming is the only sport I enjoy, but with this country’s weather it’s not very easy to go around swimming everyday.

And I am scared of getting hurt, have no problem with admitting that.

You don’t like quidditch? A lot of people don’t, but I don’t know I guess I kind of have a thing for sports in general. I don’t…usually..observe? I mean, people and things are interesting but I’ve never been one to take the time to analyze things, I’m more of a get up and go person. Like, I don’t like to stop and smell roses or whatever rather than wake up and smell the coffee. Am I using these in context? Swimming! I love the beach! There are beaches everywhere, well not really, but they can be easy to get to with a little bit of magic. Maybe if you swam a little more you’d be able to tell if you had passion in it or not.

Really? Usually people don’t admit to being afraid of things, or things like that. Hm, I’m afraid of getting hurt too. Just not physically, cuts heal.

The Hamptons was fun.

phoebepuffling:

Well, she’s 95 so I don’t think she’s getting better. I actually heard my dad praying for her death the other day. But then again, she’s his monster-in-law or whatever so I think it’s obligatory for him to hate her, I guess. But it’s the thought that matters really, so thanks Anna.

How’ve you been while I was slaving away at the golf course in a bikini underneath the sun while sipping ice lemonades under the watchful eyes of delicious tanned exotic men, and you were here, having a heavenly time in the midst of the dramas of melodramatic and overpossessive girls, hormonal boys, and homework that makes your back hurt from weighing so much in your satchel which is already tearing a little so that doesn’t help at all.

Okay, I’m kidding. I mostly spent my time at the Hamptons running away from my grandma so that resulted in me sweating like an ugly pig with yellow hair. Seriously though, how’ve you been?

95? Wow! That’s amazing, she’s a very lucky woman, or unlucky however you look at it. I wonder what it would be like to live for 95 years, with everyone around you hating you at that.

Compared to how you’ve ‘been’, I’ve been like hell. But in general not that bad, some stuff has happened that’s been pretty sad but they got better. Everything is getting better I guess. I actually believed you there! Is your grandma really that bad? I guess you can’t blame your father for his prayers then, 95 is enough years I suppose. I could really do for a vacation, some time away to think and relax is always nice. Welcome back by the way.

Well, it’s getting nice and warm outside

three-dees:

Hope you kids are enjoying being trapped inside and forced to do your final projects

We have a lot of time to do them Professor, an hour outside wouldn’t be too much to spare.
